Overview

We found this villa an attractive and exciting place to stay for a fabulous holiday in Catalonia. The style is certainly different to other traditional country homes; there is a modern shabby chic style, which we found attractive in its own way.

This is a place where we would happily stay for a relaxing holiday. We particularly liked the ample dining/living areas with views and the flat roofs with gardens; they make this place unique but with no frills.

The layout with different open spaces and levels with large windows ensures bright indoor spaces.

It is quiet and private here, and the property comes with a lovely, friendly resident cat, Pipo. Pipo is left with food, and you are not expected to look after him, but he may walk into the property.

Although we can regard this as a villa ideal for families, you may need to reconsider this property if you have young children; there are ample outdoor areas with unprotected drops, so spending time with very young kids can be exhausting as they will need permanent close supervision outdoors. 

The local village is only 2 or 3 minutes' driving distance, and you find a couple of bars/restaurants, a little primary shop and a pharmacy.

For all facilities you only need to drive a little further with most facilities you may need just 6 minutes drive away.

This villa is at the heart of Catalonia, and from its central location, you can easily visit Barcelona city and some of the stunning natural areas such as Montseny or the emblematic mountain range of Montserrat.
