Overview

This holiday home is perfect for grown ups looking for something smart and chic.

Here you have a townhouse in a very authentic Spanish neighbourhood and just a 10-minute walk from many of the delights of one of Spain’s most attractive and fascinating old towns.

You are presented with the same facilities that you would expect from one of the local boutique hotels, except this is your private space. A quality villa, split on different levels that will give you variety and a sense of fun.

Originally, just one single house which served as a storage place for wheat, the property has grown from the purchase of the next-door house and has merged into one, to create more space and privacy as well as gaining a second pool! Both pools have their different characters and benefits. One being southeast facing (partially overlooked), next to a superb Finnish sauna (with total privacy), this would perhaps be your morning choice. The main pool facing northwest, enjoying total privacy, would maybe be your afternoon option. Neither pool is enormous, but certainly larger than a splash pool!

The house being, as such, in different buildings and on different levels provides you with private spaces and nooks and crannies. The three bedrooms are great, all with facilities to make tea and two of them with large windows and terrific views.

Then you can get together in the lovely, bright and welcoming common area of the open plan kitchen / dining / living room which is connected to the terrace by large glass sliding doors and looks over the Andalusian roof tops and Ronda hills.

You can hop across to a smashing sunbathing spot and pour yourself a refreshing beverage from your own private bar on the way. This really did remind us of a boutique hotel!

We felt excited by this holiday home because of its quirky luxurious touches and because of the artistic strokes made by local artisans, who not only have great taste but have also respected and included some ancient and original features, such as the bedrock in one of the pools and in some of the walls of the property.

The attention to detail is excellent, and by creative and innovative lighting, your holiday villa is transformed at night-time, offering you an appealing ambience to enjoy those warm memorable Spanish nights.

From a practical point of view, there is an ample free parking area very close to the house, just a two-minute walk away.

With Ronda, now on a par with Cordoba and Granada, this is a fabulous holiday choice. On your doorstep you have history, culture, good places to eat out, fantastic walks and incredible views. What more could you ask for!

Angela | October | 2024

We had a wet week in Ronda, but Patricio was the perfect host. He ensured we were able to enjoy our stay without any issues with wet clothes, or floors. Such a nice man! The villa was superbly equipped, very comfortable with amazing views across to the mountains. It's situation, close to the centre, enabled us to walk to restaurants, cafés and shops in no time at all. Would definitely recommend to couples, or families with older children - 5 stars from us!"

What a lovely property! We were looking for a relaxing / chilled stay in Ronda and that's exactly what we got. We stayed for 7 nights and really enjoyed our time at this delightful property. The bedrooms were comfortable (we used one for sleeping and one as a dressing room!) with air conditioning as required and every night we slept well, as the location is lovely and quiet. The views from the lounge / diner / terrace are absolutely stunning and you will never tire of looking out across the mountains whilst relaxing. The kitchen is clean and well equipped with everything you need. The swimming pool areas are lovely and provide a nice private area in which you can relax and sunbathe. The property owners Patrick and Anna are really welcoming and provided loads of useful information about Ronda town, including restaurant and bar recommendations galore (several of which we tried and all were great) and local shops information. They also provided recommendations of white villages to visit in the mountains and we managed to get to 4 of them using our hire car over 2 days - lovely! The whole experience of booking with Rustical Travel was simple and clear with good/timely communications."

This is a stunning property within walking distance of the historical centre of Ronda. Patrick Ana are such lovely hosts, so warm friendly. They really have thought of everything. The house is full of charm. It’s quirky layout and decor is so unique and you can tell that so much love went into designing this special place. The main pool is muchbigger than how it appears in photos. We spent full days just relaxing at the pool. We never got bored once, even our teenager was happy to spend a full day in the house. We will definitely return! Louise, Mark family"

We had a fabulous holiday at the club! It was the perfect layout for us - a couple with two older teenagers. We all had our own rooms and plenty of spaces to do our own thing. The pool was perfect too! Easy walk into lovely Ronda. Thank you Patrick and Ana!"

Lovely stay in a well positioned apartment with excellent facilities. The apartment views are great! Also, good access for the car to and from the car park allowing trips to nearby places. Patrick y Ana were wonderful hosts, always on hand should we need anything and very helpful at the start of our holiday as we arrived late in the evening. Thanks to you both for everything. Lots of steps and quite steep climbs at the place but our eldest party member (82 years) managed it with care. Ronda is stunning and lovely with so much to do, a short walk back that lets you take in amazing views, routes through lovely back-streets lined with fruit trees, and many nice shops, bars and eateries, local Rondan wines are excellent. If interested in nature, there are some really nice walks from the road down the hill past the car park (towards Lidl), lovely meadows full of birds singing."

Quirky townhouse within 10 mins walk of the main town centre. Very well appointed. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Nearby free parking. The owner, Patrick was most accommodating, informative and very helpful. The main pool is larger than it looks in the photos. Supermarket 2/3 mins away. Restaurants 10 mins. Accommodation was clean, spacious and well-appointed. Highly recommended."

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is within walking distance of the town while still being quiet enough to relax . Patrick and Ana are great hosts and go above and beyond to help their guests. Ana told us about local restaurants and activities whilst Patrick was so generous with his time in helping me find a set of lost airpods - even posting them home for me as I had left the villa when they were found. Would definitely recommend ."

The hosts Patrick and Ana were lovely and went out of their way to show us around and give information on the area. What disappointed us was the realities of the layout of the "villa". It was like stating in a camp site with each area in a different building which meant you had to go in and out in the cold and the rain and up and down slippery wet steps. I'm sure when the weather is hot it is not such an issue. But we had been travelling for 3 weeks staying in lots of different hotels and we were looking forward to having space to relax and kick back. That was the other big issue; the lounge area was not somewhere you could do this. It looked very quirky, but the realities of trying to position yourself comfortably on a lump of concrete for any length of time soon began to hit home. We spent our evenings sat at the kitchen table or lying on the bed. We actually cut our holiday there short by one night, we made the excuse that we wanted to break the journey up to Madrid, but really we were just desperate to move on to somewhere more comfortable."

We loved this property! It is thoughtfully designed, bringing two townhouses together in harmony. The design ethic is strong, with a very boutique hotel vibe yet the freedom of a villa. There are panoramic views from the terrace and the solarium, absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful it is hard to believe you are in the city. It is a ten minute walk to the city centre, with supermarkets, restaurants, and sightseeing o your doorstep. Patrick and Ana were perfect hosts, and gave us some great recommendations on things to do in the area, and places to eat. We hope to return! The booking arrangements were easy, communication was regular, and Rustical Travel was a great portal to a fab holiday."

Great location within walking distance of the town and all of the shops, restaurants and museums (and a 2 minute drive to a well stocked Aldi). Beautifully decorated and well thought out property. Patrick respected our privacy but was always at the end of the phone if we had any questions. Loved the views from the house which we enjoyed from the veranda and living room. Anna shared great advice about the local area which really helped us plan a varied week in Ronda."

Excellent communication and advice and recommendations from the owners. Flexible to arrange to meet us when our flights were cancelled last minute and we had to arrive a day later than scheduled. Booking through Rustical Travel was very straightforward, and communication with the company pre- and post-booking was excellent. As for the property, this was probably the best holiday villa we have ever rented. Architecturally stunning, amazing views and ideally located: on the edge of town, so incredibly peaceful, but only a five minute walk to the main shopping and restaurant area. There were only two of us, so we had more space than we really needed, but it was a joy to have so many options when it came to just relaxing, be it by one of the beautiful pools, on deckchairs overlooking the surrounding countryside, or on the rooftop terrace amongst the cacti. Patrick and Anna were super hosts, and their recommendations on what to see and do, and especially where to eat, were excellent. In summary, a fabulous rental and a wonderful holiday."

We had a wonderful time at the Bella Vista Ronda Club. Our hosts Patrick and Ana were very friendly and keen to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The club is beautiful, well built including the proper functioning of such 'normal things' such as water. The two pools are comfortable. The club has great vistas of the surrounding area. We rented the whole club, which was great since all family members had their own bedroom and bathroom (our two daughters together, our son, and we). The area is great, lots of things to do and beautiful nature. We enjoyed our stay at the club and can recommend to anyone seeking a great place in Ronda!"
